Measure and Regularly Review your Marketing Efforts

If it is possible to track how your clients found you, this would be valuable information to know when you are assessing the success of your various marketing efforts. This does not necessarily have to be high tech or formal. It could be as simple as your receptionist consistently asking this question and recording the answers or including this question on your intake form. Your practice management software may be capable of tracking these valuable metrics for you. This information should be regularly reviewed so that you can decide where to best allocate your marketing budget and exert your efforts. Marketing takes time and effort, so it is good to know, with some assurance, that it is worth it.
