Your ability to deal with an SRP will make little difference if you have not provided adequate education and resources for your support staff. You are ultimately responsible for, and must directly supervise, staff and assistants to whom you have delegated tasks (Code of Conduct, Rule 6.1-1). Consider establishing protocols for your firm when the opposing party is self-represented, so that your staff are aware of your obligations and know the appropriate steps to follow.
